At the start, in the first beginning, LeonEdu began as a concept in the mind and heart of Bill Roy. Along with our other colleague, John Hill, they launched the company to help support and develop the skills of school leaders. The time has come for Bill to form new beginnings and take a different pathway to focus on other things.

We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge our friend, colleague and co-founder, Bill Roy. About four years ago, LeonEdu was birthed out of a conversation between Bill and another of our co-founders, John Hill. It was really Bill’s idea. Let’s be honest. That’s the type of him, a man of vision, a man who could see things were possible and who has the unique capability to envision and galvanise other people to bring things to fruition. All of the fantastic work that we’ve done over the past four years with what is now over 100 schools, is as a result of that conversation.

There is a well-known saying by Wilfred Peterson that we often share when we work with teams and groups.

“Walk with the dreamers, the believers, the courageous, the cheerful, the planners, the doers, the successful people with their heads in the clouds and their feet on the ground. Let their spirit ignite a fire within you to leave this world better than when you found it…”

That sums up Bill.
